Based in Portsmouth Harbour, RS Divers specialise in the provision of inshore commercial diving services and divers, to organisations and individuals across the UK.
The management and staff of RS Divers have assessed the hazards and risks to health and safety within our activities, products and services, and have also identified the relevant aspects that we believe could have an impact on the environment.
In order to control these hazards and impacts, we have implemented a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System in line with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004, working in conjunction with the Quality Management System (QMS), which complies with ISO 9001:2008.
We are fully committed to continually improving our HSE Management System in order to fully control the risks to occupational health and safety and any significant impacts to the environment.
It is also our policy, wherever possible, to prevent injury and ill health as well as pollution, and have set, and will monitor performance against, relevant HSE objectives and targets.
In addition, we are committed to complying with all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental laws and regulations, and other associated codes of practice to which we subscribe. Our efforts towards achieving these aims are part of RS Divers HSE philosophy.
This policy is periodically reviewed to ensure its continuing suitability, and is communicated to all members of staff and persons working for or on behalf of RS Divers, through induction and general awareness training, in addition to being displayed in strategic locations throughout the company.
This policy is also available to all interested parties including, where appropriate, members of the public.
